Too Soon? You betcha!

A seemingly significant story broke today about the capabilities of a hack for hire group out of Shanghai documenting their work for the Chinese Ministry of Public Security and other government agencies.

It involves on the fly machine translation of the trove of documents and chat logs, so we're all sitting here waiting to find out and confirm details.

I'm expecting a lot of reading tomorrow, and nothing I've seen so far leads me to believe this is relevant to journalists specifically, but I wouldn't be surprised if names pop up as we get more information. So far it serves as a rare window into a world that is intentionally invisible and oddly mundane.
